Bristol Adult Resource Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advocating for personal growth and community inclusion for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. For over six decades, BARC has helped individuals build independence, access meaningful programs, participate in work and community activities, and engage with life in a way that reflects dignity and belonging. Their offerings include vocational support, day-program activities, art and recreation programs, and residential services — all designed to empower participants and integrate them into the Bristol community.
Project
For the past 20 years, we’ve partnered with BARC to tell their story through updated promotional films that showcase who they are, what they do, and — most importantly — the people they serve. These videos are more than run-of-the-mill promotional content. They’re narrative vehicles that put faces and voices to the mission, highlight evolving programs, and make the abstract idea of “community inclusion” something tangible and relatable.
Each iteration of the film captures new stories, updated programs, evolving spaces like their art initiatives or work-in-community partnerships, and the real impact BARC has on participants’ lives. The content lives on BARC’s website, social platforms, donor communications, and in-person presentations — becoming a core piece of how the organization represents itself year after year.
